  Well, after having no experience of cat sitting for over 15 years of owning cats, we eventually decided that getting somebody else in to look after our cat was an eventuality. So where to start, luckily, Ellen (Cats Prefur Home) was the closest to where we lived. Found through Google's Places, and immediately saw that Ellen is indeed a cat lover and doesn't do the Cats and Dogs mix that some other local people offered. Making me think that she was more of a specialist if you like.
  
  I thought that the costs would be huge, but to my surprise Ellen was really reasonable, and after coming back from Holiday, I found out exactly how much I was getting for my money.
  
  She was really clear at the outset as to what she would do for my cat, what time she would be able to come round every day, and I filled out a form that gave her all the information she would need if things were to go wrong whilst we were away, essentially giving me and my family peace of mind.
  
  Whilst we were on holiday, Ellen had kept us informed as to how Jessie was doing, and even took a picture to send to us to show us our cat enjoying herself! Brilliant service!
  
  Well, on our return home, we found an envelope waiting for us with a log of what Ellen had done for Jessie. Ellen even put the bins out and watered the plants for us (that was really kind of her as she didn't have to do this at all - a lovely surprise again).
  
  I never felt for a second that Jessie was in nothing but great hands, we'd definitely use Ellen's service again and would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone else in the area.
